AO was fortunate to receive a grant from the Claire Friedlander Family Foundation to help support the travel costs for our Young Alumni and Dental Student members to participate in the 2018 AO International Convention and Boston Regional Meeting. Applicants may receive up to $300 in travel grant funds. These funds do not include the International Convention Student Delegate travel reimbursement (set forth by the Finance Committee).
Young Alumni and Dental Students must:
· check with the local AO Alumni chapter to determine if travel funds are already available. Preference will be given to those applicants who do not have alumni chapter support, but funds may be available to those who are financially supported by the alumni chapter;
·be current, paying members of Alpha Omega;
·must request the travel grant for the AO Regional Meeting (Boston, October 4-7) or the AO International Convention in New Orleans (December 26-January 1);
·must travel to the location city and not reside within the city;
·must attend all functions within the convention or regional meeting;
·must submit a summary report of the experience and submit travel receipts to AO Headquarters.
