Washington DC

The Washington, D.C. chapter was formed in 1927.  Each year we offer over 20 credits of continuing education to our members, in addition to several social events.  Our chapter members provide needed dental services on a volunteer basis to the Hebrew Home of Washington, D.C. in Rockville, Maryland; we help educate caregivers in nursing homes and participate in dental screenings at the Special Olympics.  Our chapter's Holocaust Survivor program (in conjunction with the Jewish Social Service Agency of Greater Washington and the Maimonides Dental Society) is a nationally recognized program and serves as a template for US involvement in outreach programs for those in need.
